Like to work on events?
We need help at our Annual Fall Country Fair, from manning the booths to gathering the preparatory supplies to selling the popcorn! Start by coming to a fair meeting in the summer!
We could use some volunteers for the car show too!
Like to garden?
Are you an accomplished gardener or do you just enjoy being outdoors? We have several gardens and outdoor areas that could use your help from April to September to keep the beds tidy and the outdoor areas looking good. Contact us soon!
Like to move stuff?
Are you strong? We always need a hand moving things, in the house and outside. And with our upcoming barn renovation we will have to move many of the barn tools and implements to designated areas and back again.
Like to do specialized projects?
Do you have a special skill set? Can you reweave and paint wicker porch furniture? Can you repair furniture? Are you a vintage textile steamer? Are you a handyperson? Drop us a note and let us know what you may be able to offer.
Like to write?
Do you have a knack for researching and writing? Want to try your hand at submitting an historic article for consideration to either go into the archives or our journal? Let us know your thoughts.
Like to public speak?
Can you memorize the basics of a 45-minute script and give a docent tour? Opportunities may be coming available for docents for house tours and walking tours.
